Home Displaced Students Campus Activities Red Cross Needs Drop Off Sites Volunteers

Arkansas State University students, faculty and staff are rallying to support the relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina victims.  Numerous organizations and groups across campus have initiated collection sites for needed supplies and monetary donations as well as plans for fund raisers.

September 12, 2005 Update - Volunteer assistance continues to be a major need at all of the evacuee shelters and at the main evacuee processing center (Jelk's Chrysler Building).  Donations of cash can be used more expediently by such organizations as The American Red Cross, Salvation Army, KARE, The United Way, and other agencies.  It's expected that shelters will remain open for several more weeks.

Evacuees needing medical assistance in Jonesboro may call (870) 268-4422.
