Most
baccalaureate degree programs at Arkansas State University – Jonesboro can be
completed in four calendar years of a student’s initial enrollment.
The four-year graduation guarantee plan is designed to assist students
with staying on track for meeting their degree requirements in a timely manner.
Students who elect to participate in this program will work closely with
their advisers to make sure they know the requirements that must be met and the
appropriate sequences in which to take courses. Students accept responsibility for monitoring their own
progress toward degrees and for making choices that will allow them to graduate
in four years. The university is
responsible for providing needed courses or their equivalents.
Students
who wish to complete a baccalaureate degree in four years must successfully
complete at least 30-36 hours of appropriate course work each academic year as
outlined by their degree plan, meet frequently with their academic advisor, and
remain in academic good standing (GPA of 2.00 or above). Arkansas State University - Jonesboro guarantees that
all undergraduate students wishing to graduate in four years will be provided
necessary courses as required by the university in the student’s selected
major field of study (the major must be on the approved list for the plan).
Students are responsible for taking courses in the appropriate sequence
as scheduled by the university (completion of prerequisite courses, etc.).
Any required courses needed beyond four years will be provided to the
student tuition-free providing all conditions of the graduation guarantee
